How does the baby thalassotherapy bath take place?

1

Welcome and exchange

We take the time to discuss with you: baby's age and weight, habits, questions. Each session is adapted to your child.

2

Installation and filling

Baby is gently accompanied into the bath. Our practitioner supports him constantly, with slow and enveloping movements.

3

The bath

In guided flotation, baby evolves at his own pace. We always adapt to his signals.

4

Outing and massage

Baby came out delicately, wrapped in a warm towel. A gentle massage completes the session.

Your frequently asked questions

From what age can you do a baby thalassotherapy bath?

The thalassotherapy bath is recommended from the first weeks of life, once the umbilical cord has healed well. Each baby being unique, we assess together when you make your appointment whether the time is well suited to your child. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Can my baby be afraid of water?

This is a question that many parents ask themselves — and it's completely normal! Our practitioners use slow, enveloping and progressive movements so that baby enters the water gently. The vast majority of babies naturally relax within the first few minutes. Discover our team and their caring approach.

Do I need to bring anything for the session?

We advise you to bring a change of clothes for your baby, their favorite blanket and possibly something to breastfeed or feed them after the session. Everything you need for bathing is provided on site.

Is the thalassotherapy bath reimbursed by insurance?

This treatment may be the subject of a private insurance receipt depending on your coverage. We recommend that you check with your insurer which treatments are covered in naturopathy or massage therapy.
