What if the best childbirth preparation happened… at home?
The at-home prenatal classes offer a private, reassuring space to learn, ask your questions and get ready for baby's arrival — without leaving home.
From the comfort of your living room, an Ysé Naissance doula walks you through the main themes of pregnancy and birth : the physiology of labour, pain management, positions that help the birth along, the partner's role, newborn care and the first steps in the postpartum period.
These in-home sessions allow for a 100% personalized support, adapted to your pace, your surroundings and your specific needs. A gentle, human and practical way to take your prenatal classes, wherever you feel most at ease.
When to start in-home prenatal classes
Ideally you'd start your at-home prenatal classes between the the 25th and 32nd week of pregnancy. By then most of the first-trimester discomforts are behind you and you can make the most of the preparation.
It also leaves time to cover all the essentials before baby arrives: labour, pain management, the partner's role, the birth and the postpartum period.
Can my partner join?
Absolutely! The at-home prenatal classes are designed to be experienced as a couple. The partner's presence is not only welcome but essential: it lets you build a shared childbirth preparation, built on communication, trust and support.
Together you'll learn to recognize the signs of labour, find the positions that help things progress, manage pain and strengthen your bond through this great adventure that is parenthood.
Here, we bring gentleness to childbirth preparation.
Our team brings together dedicated birth doulas, each with her own expertise.
Whether it's prenatal preparation, postpartum follow-up, or more specific situations: physiological birth, high-risk pregnancy, breastfeeding, going back to work, or support for older siblings.

Our services are fully tailored to your needs and can be reimbursed by most private insurance plans under the heading naturopathy.

FAQ: understanding at-home prenatal classes
What does an in-home prenatal class include?
Each session covers the essentials: the physiology of birth, natural pain management, positions that help labour along, the partner's role, first baby care and breastfeeding — all in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
How many sessions are recommended?
On average, a full cycle includes 1 to 3 sessions, depending on your needs and how far along you are in your pregnancy. Some families prefer an intensive format over a few weeks, others choose more gradual support. We always adjust the content to your pace.
Are at-home prenatal classes covered by insurance?
Yes, most of our birth doulas can issue naturopathy insurance receipts, which allows for a partial or full reimbursement depending on your coverage. We recommend checking the terms with your insurer before classes begin.
